Locate the journal via Journals search
Click on Activate Journal Alert
Once activated, the bell icon will change: 
You’ll receive an email to your registered email address, whenever there is a new edition or ahead of publication items are released.
Note: If the option to Activate Journal Alert is not available, you'll have to set up the alert through the publisher's site. For journals available through EBSCO DOSS (Dental and Oral Science Source) click on the journal title to go to the journal on DOSS, then follow these instructions to set up a journal alert in the EBSCOhost new user interface.
To view a list of your alerts, click on your Name in the top right corner and select Account Settings.
There is also a quick link to your journal alerts on the home/landing page of the NDL under My bookmarks
