LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that connects users with library-licensed and open access full text articles. When using LibKey Nomad, users are automatically directed to the best available version of an article so there is no need to search multiple places.

How LibKey Nomad works

Publisher websites

When browsing a publisher's site (and you're not logged into the National Digital Library) if the full text of an article is available through the National Digital Library a Download PDF button will appear (usually in the bottom left of the web browser).

When you click on the Download PDF or Article Link button, LibKey will connect with the National Digital Library.

A secondary screen will appear during this process.

If you haven't previously logged into the ADA National Digital Library, the sign in screen will appear. Add your ADA Federal member ID and password and click the Sign in button. (You should only need to do this once during a current browser session).

Once the process is complete, the requested PDF of the article will open in a new tab, or for linked article, the article page.
